3 Email Marketing Tips

Fragmentation of media options grows every day. This week various sources in the press announced that social media is now more popular than email. Translation: another new source is taking time away from other avenues and marketers now have even less time to influence and persuade. To seize this trend, email marketers should all regularly employ these three tactics:

• Design for the preview pane, as many people no longer even open the actual message
• Use background colors instead of images where possible (for users who turn off images)
• Create multiple call to actions and ensure the first link mentioned is your most desired action, as it will garner the most clicks
